A security guard at the Grand Canyon Shopping Mall in Beersheba reported a suspicious incident today (Thursday), as a woman handed him a note in Hebrew in which she allegedly wrote verses from the Quran.
A police force was summoned to the scene and launched searches after the woman in fear that she planned on committing a terror attack at the shopping mall.
According to the security guard’s report, the woman, who is presumably Arab, left the suspicious note and continued walking away. Suspicions that the woman was a terrorist who left an explosive device at the site are being investigated.
